Alec Austin

Founder/President

Originally from Florida, Alec started his “AAA” hockey career under Vlad Chermata, a top level Russian Army player in the late 1980s, and one of the famous Sutter brothers, Duane Sutter. Alec was then recruited to play for the Cleveland Barons. After the Barons, Alec joined one of the top organizations in the country, Little Caesars U16 midget minor who ended up winning the national championship in 2008, with notable players like Rocco Grimaldi and Mike Houser and was selected to Select 15 and 16 National Camps.

In 2010 Alec was offered the 10th overall pick by the Kenai River Brown Bears in the NAHL, but tendered in the OJHL, with the Wellington Dukes instead, after another great National Championship run with the Tier I AAA program, Team Maryland. Alec was an American Hockey League referee from the 2017 to 2018 season, and was invited to the NHL Ref Combine two years in a row.

Alec was a Head Minnesota scout in the NAHL for six years for the Soo Eagles and New Jersey Titans, and was the head overall scout of the number one NAHL program in 2018-2019 and from 2019 to 2023 was the Head MN Scout for Coquitlam in the BCHL. He has represented players for the last 9 years in the USHL/NAHL/BCHL and CJHL programs.

He received his JD from Mitchell Hamline Law in 2019 and not only excelling in his classes but also where he was Executive Editor of Cybaris IP Law Review, publishing articles relating to IP matters in the area of trademarks and copyrights. Alec also worked at a top NHLPA firm in Edina, Minnesota. He graduated with honors from Hamline University in 2016. He has extensive knowledge in the Junior A, AAA and college hockey world and has dedicated his life to helping kids through the difficult path of junior hockey. Alec has helped over 400 clients reach their NCAA goals and has helped many notable clients complete their dreams, either to play division one hockey, major junior, or at the professional level, including notable NHL Star, Stephane Veilleux.

In 2023, Alec was signed to HC Tel Aviv, where he played with Aaron Barisha and C.J. Yakimowicz, who both won a Memorial Cup with the London Knights, with Mitch Marner. There Alec was +5, with 6 pts in 11 games and was one of the best defensemen in the league. This league included number one overall ohl draft pick David Levin and his brother Mike Levin who currently plays for the Niagra Ice Dogs in the OHL. Multiple KHL stars like Nikita Lukin and others were also part of this league


Ryan Zuhlsdorf

Head Minneapolis/St Paul/Fargo Scout

Ryan grew up in Edina, Minnesota where he left high school early to play in the USHL. During his Junior A career, he played for Sioux City and Dubuque where was also selected to play for the USA World Junior A team, twice. Both in Sioux city and World Junior A challenge, Ryan was honored with a letter on his jersey, being captain of the musketeers. He was then selected in the NHL Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 5th round. Ryan played college hockey at the University of Minnesota from 2016-2020, winning the Big Ten Championship in 2016. Over Ryan's 3-year pro hockey career he played for 4 teams in the ECHL, amassing 64 pts in 150 games. Ryan currently scouts for his old team in the USHL, the Sioux City Musketeers, and resides in his old hometown of Edina.


Vince Anderson

Vice President and Head of Michigan Scouting

Vince grew up in Waterford Michigan and played his youth hockey out of Lakeland Arena. In his Bantam and Midget years (15U, 16U, 17U, 18U) he played AAA hockey for the Michigan Nationals and Saint Clair Shores Falcons. He played his Junior A Hockey in the fledgling NAJHL (North American Junior Hockey League) now the NAHL (North American Hockey League) for the Redford Royals.

After Junior Hockey Vince attended Wayne State University and received his Business Degree. He then began his career working in the Automotive industry. After being out of hockey for a while he decided to Coach both his sons in youth hockey with The Lakeland Hockey and Orchard Lake United Hockey Associations. Vince has a wealth of hockey knowledge to share from Playing, Coaching and Navigating the process of Junior and College hockey with his players and sons who currently play at the collegiate and junior levels. 

Vince currently is the Head Michigan scout for a top team in the AJHL, Drayton Valley .


Anthony Walsh

Greater Minneapolis/St Paul Scout

Anthony Walsh is a Community Engagement Specialist for Hennepin County in Minneapolis. He is a 2023 graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Walsh attended undergrad at the University of North Dakota where he studied abroad in both Santiago, Chile and Oslo, Norway; and interned twice for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. Before law school Walsh interned for a United States senator in Washington, DC. Following his internship, Walsh worked on higher education policy for a think tank in DC before enrolling in law school. Walsh studied law part-time in DC and worked full-time until he transferred to Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota during the COVID-19 Pandemic and finished as a full-time student. Walsh become a published author in 2022. He is on the board of FreeWriters and Mosaic Hockey Collective; and co-chairs DEI for Hockey Day Minnesota 2025 Shakopee. Walsh is the Head Scout in Minnesota for the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). Walsh was a member of Edina High School’s Minnesota state class AA boy’s high school hockey championship team in 2013, and played in both the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) and the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL).


Tatiana Rafter

Director of BC/ Western Canada and Senior Adviser

Tatiana Rafter is a former ice hockey player who achieved a significant milestone in the UBC Thunderbirds program by becoming the first player to be named Canada West Player of the Year. 

 Significantly, Rafter was the Thunderbirds' top scorer in 2013 and 2015. Following the 2012-13 season, she amassed 13 goals and 10 assists, as well as seven goals and five assists in 10 playoff games. During that season, she was chosen for the Canadian women's ice hockey team at the 2013 Winter Universiade. Alongside her Thunderbirds teammate Christi Capozzi, she was instrumental in Canada's triumph in securing the gold medal.

Her exceptional performance in the 2014 season, where she led all players in the Canada West conference with 20 goals, 18 assists, 38 points, 9 power play goals, 2 shorthanded goals, and 6 game-winning goals, earned her this accolade.

Tatiana is joining the U15 AAA Central Plains program this season as their Head Coach, which follows leading the U18 AAA Interlake Lightning to achieving the best season in program history, breaking every record on the books.

Having 18+years of hockey development experience as well as being a former professional hockey player and highly decorated university athlete at UBC, Tatiana brings a wealth of hockey experience with her into this position. She is currently teaching Glideskate (a skating technique platform that hundreds of current NHL players use) within the minor hockey community in Winnipeg and Tatiana also works as an agent to male and female athletes from Minnesota and Manitoba by connecting them with Junior A and/or post-secondary opportunities. She provides mentorship in these players' hockey careers.

Some of the accolades earned over the course of  Tatiana’s playing career are as follows: UBC Top Goal Scorer, Canada West Player of the Year (MVP), First Team Canada West All-Star, First Team CIS All-Canadian, UBC CanWest Champion (2013), Team Canada Gold Medalist (U-Sport, 2013), NWHL Champion (2015), Russian All-Star Champion (2019), BH Prep Champion & Alum, University of British Columbia Alum, National Women's Hockey League Alum, and Russian Professional Hockey League Alum.

John Bodnar: Director of Toronto and GTHL Scouting

John Bodnar is a seasoned hockey professional with a rich background that includes playing at the junior and professional levels, advanced education in marketing, and extensive experience in coaching and player development. His diverse career has positioned him as a key figure in the hockey world, now set to make an even greater impact as he steps into his new role as a scout.

John’s journey in hockey began in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he honed his skills in the Minor AAA leagues before advancing to junior hockey. He played for several notable junior teams, including the Thunder Bay Hornets (MJHL), Thunder Bay Flyers (USHL), Brockville Braves (CJHL), Elliott Lake Vikings and the Espanola Eagles (NOJHL).  His strong performance in junior hockey led him to a professional stint with the Thunder Bay Senators in the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Complementing his on-ice achievements, John pursued academic studies, earning a Business Marketing diploma from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, followed by a post-graduate diploma in Sports & Event Marketing from George Brown College in Toronto. This education provided him with a strong foundation in the business of sports, which he has applied throughout his career.

For the past 13 years, John has been the owner and operator of Goalies Edge Coaching & Conditioning, a goalie school where he has mentored and trained young goaltenders. His program is well-regarded for its comprehensive approach, blending technical skill development with physical conditioning and mental preparation.

John is now excited to be joining Premier Hockey Management as a scout in the Greater Toronto Area. In this new role, he will leverage his extensive experience and keen eye for talent to identify and develop the next generation of hockey players. His passion for the game, combined with his broad expertise, makes him a valuable addition to the Premier Hockey Management team.

John Bodnar’s commitment to hockey, whether through his work as a player, coach, or scout, continues to drive his contributions to the sport, making him a respected and influential figure in the hockey community.

Jeff Finger

Director of North Michigan/North Ontario Scout

Jeff Finger is a former NHL defensemen, who retired from the sport in 2013. He was drafted in the 8th round by the Colorado Avalanche in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on February 20, 2007 against the Calgary Flames and recorded his first NHL point when he assisted on a Paul Stastny goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets. On March 1st, he scored his first NHL goal against the Chicago Blackhawks.

In the 2007-08 season he lead the Colorado Avalanche defenseman in goals, hits, and blocked shots. Also finished second on team in +\- with a plus 12. The next year he signed with the Toronto maple leafs as a free agent where he reached single season career highs in assists, points, hits, and blocks. Jeff finished his NHL career with 204 games played.

At 15 years old Jeff left home to play midget AAA for the Marquette Electricians where the team beat Little Ceasers in the state championship for the first time in 12 years. While playing junior hockey with the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) he eared all-star status two times and was selected the league's defenseman of the Year for the 1999–2000 season. In the 2000–2001 season he was named St.Cloud's (WCHA) Outstanding Freshman Hockey Player. St. Cloud also won the WCHA Championship in Jeff’s sophomore season. He also played for AHL teams, the Hershey Bears, the Lowell Lock Monsters, and the Toronto Marlies.

Jeff resides in his home town of Houghton, MI which is considered the birthplace of professional hockey. He lives with his long time fiancé’ and their three children.

Pascal Morency

Midwest/Detroit/Ohio Scouting

Pascal played professionally for 12 years. Following his major junior career, he stepped into the pro ranks with The United Hockey League.

Pascal went on to play in the ECHL and then onto the AHL where he was nominated for the Yannick Dupre Award 3 years in a row with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He continued his professional career overseas in the EBEL, the top league in Austria. His last season was with the Sheffield Steelers in the UK.

Pascal began his coaching career following his retirement as a player. While coaching the Fernie Academy, he began a life coaching service to empower and mentor athletes on and off the ice. Pascal continued his coaching career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and Junior AAA for 3 years.

Aidan Quaglino

East Coast/European Scout

Quaglino joins Premier Hockey Management with extensive experience in North American and European scouting.  Quaglino has worked at the NAHL level as an East Coast / Director of European Scouting .  His most recent appointment included holding the position of North American Scout and coach for Great Britain's U20 and U18 national teams. 

With extensive NCAA and European playing experience, Quaglino looks forward to helping the next generation of players reach their hockey goals, while providing valuable advice along the way."

Eddy Arcy

Columbus/Cleveland/Pittsburgh Scout

Eddie Arcy has grown up alongside the sport of hockey in the city of Columbus. At an early age, he had the opportunity of playing in front of Blue Jackets goalie Ron Tugnutt as his son, and RHM advisor, Jake Tugnutt was apart of the team. Eddie went on to play at all levels including AAA for a top-5 ranked Ohio AAA Blue Jackets team- playing alongside Connor Murphy(CHI) and Sean Kuraly(BOS).

On top of his services at Arcy Development, Eddie is a skills coach for 10+ teams in the city and is well known around the rinks. He holds on-ice services at the Battery Hockey Academy, a Cam Atkinson owned training facility in Columbus. Eddie is also currently the staff goalie for the Columbus Blue Jackets- skating alongside Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekäläinen and goalie coach Manny Legacy. Eddie’s goalie coach and mentor is Jeff Salajko of the Detroit Red Wings. Eddie dedicates his life to helping kids develop to their full potential and his services at PHM are a great addition.

Jacob Tugnutt

Director of Eastern Ontario Adviser/Scout

Jake has grown up around the NHL and the game of hockey for his entire life. A goaltender with experience in non-traditional hockey markets such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas; Jake lived most of his life in the hockey capital of the world in southern Ontario. There, he split time in both the city and countryside of Ottawa and Peterborough. He’s been personally mentored by some of the best goalie coaches of this generation. The list includes Francois Allaire, Andrew Verner, Charlie McTavish and even Hall of Famer Vladlislav Tretiak. Each of these coaches had a profound influence in Jakes style of play.

After a successful season in minor midget, Jake was a late round OHL draft pick to the Kitchener Rangers. There, he met current NHL goalie coach Piero Greco. His teachings were the start of Jake’s transformation of the modern era of goaltending. At 17, Jake played provincial Junior A and in the GOJHL (Junior B) before settling down with the Kemptville 73’s of the CCHL for the remainder of his junior career. From there, Jake moved to the state of hockey in Minnesota as he attended Saint Mary’s University (MIAC). Going into his junior season, Jake transferred closer to home to play for a start-up program at King’s College (UCHC).

It wasn’t until college where Jake learned the necessity of becoming a better student of the industry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration Degree in Marketing, Jake became a first mover in all aspects of life to help with the constant demand of the game. That includes, nutrition, mental/physical health, preparation and overall advice on issues that can be developed through the sport of hockey. Jake has substantial amount of knowledge about the game worldwide and is glad to help any young aspiring player reach their goals.

Brett Kilar

New England and Mass Adviser/Scout

Brett Kilar is a former professional and NCAA DIII Goaltender who played at New England College in the New England Hockey Conference, located in New Hampshire. During his time in college hockey, he was named an All-American his senior year, as well as NEHC Goaltender of the year, NEHC First Team All-Conference, New England writers association All-Star team and received the George M Paramenter Memorial Athletic Award from NEC.

Following his collegiate career, Brett signed his first professional contract with the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL. He then spent 2 seasons playing professionally overseas, in the top Norwegian league, the Get-liguen. While also spending close to 2 seasons playin in Germany with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau. Brett has recently retired from professional hockey and is now living in Massachusetts and looking to help the next generation of talent succeed and live their dreams.
